School of Electrical, Electronic Communication, and Computer Engineering

Electrical, Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering aims to cultivate appropriate engineers who can apply high technology ingeniously. To this end, the field focuses on new generation mobile communication, speech recognition and signal process, antenna manufacture/ design, optical communication, servomechanism and electronic measurement, image communication, electronic power, semiconductor, power system, digital and computer circuit layout, computer graphics application, designing and application of embedded systems, the understanding and application of artificial intelligence, computer program development, ubiquitous system development, and web application developing fields. Education programs such as the special education program and learning community also serve this purpose.

The School supports education by offering numerous scholarships, overseas training opportunities, employment advice, and field experience. Students will be able to participate in programs provided by the Industrial-Academic Cooperation Centered Universities, and New University for Regional Innovation. In their first year studies, students will be provided with a wide range of courses from basic to high technology education, and will decide in their second year a specific major (Electrical and Semiconductor, Electronic Communication, or Computer Engineering). Students will evenly exercise mathematical principles, hardware, and major theories. These studies, which focus on both theory and practice, will aid students to apply their skills in their fields.

Graduates tend to advance to positions in domestic/ foreign graduate schools, educational organizations, government and public offices, broadcasting fields, communication enterprises, computer network firms, communication industries, information investment organizations, semiconductor companies, electronic based companies, semiconductor device research organizations, Bio-metric System companies, CCTV companies, security maintenance companies. Moreover, students can get a job in the field of nuclear power generation, game planning, game graphic design, game programming production, mobile game programming, character design, advertisement design, game graphic, web design, H/W, venture foundation, and other computation-related and etc.
