The field of mechanical and automotive engineering is based on the study of electricity and materials. It investigates machines and automobiles, and deals with knowledge regarding engineering concepts and planning.
The Division was founded in 1999 and was renamed the Division of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in 2006 after mergers with other departments. Its objective is to study fundamental and specialty knowledge in not only engineering, but also mathematics and computers.
Graduates are able to pursue careers in engineering, electronics, automobile, and construction firms. They may also enroll in a graduate program in the field of mechanical systems engineering.
Specific positions graduate can be qualified for include heavy industry employee, technical public official, and government officer.
